Opportunities in the UK solar market for IHT planning
Chris Carlson, Solar Expert, representing the ProVen VCTs and Estate Planning Service, will discuss opportunities in the UK solar market for IHT planning. He'll provide a deep dive into the UK solar landscape and share his perspective on investment opportunities within the IHT sector.
The current state of play with pensions and IHT
Dentons’ Technical Sales Director, Steve McPhillips, will provide an assessment of how things are looking in relation to the proposals to bring pensions within scope of Inheritance Tax from April 2027, in light of the draft Finance Bill 2025-26. He will cover aspects such as options for payment of IHT on pensions, potential impacts on investments such as commercial property and finding liquidity within self-invested pension schemes.
This event will qualify for 90 minutes of CPD and you'll receive a certificate of attendance after the event has taken place.
